Westar has been serving the automotive aftermarket for the last one and a half decades. It began as an overseas marketing arm of a family manufacturing unit. Over the years it has established itself as a trusted supplier to the large and diversified base of warehouse distributors, retailers and specialty accounts.

As Westar is an amalgamation of distribution and manufacturing, it has been successful in providing customers with quality-controlled product, timely deliveries and has been constantly developing new products.

Our Strengths

Sales and Marketing:

• We have a dedicated and motivated team of sales representatives ably managed by our Marketing Manager.
• Our warehouses are well spread over the North American continent to serve the customers locally.

Manufacturing:

• Quality products are guaranteed by an independently certified ISO 9002 manufacturing facility, employing over 600 workers, housed in a 90,000 square foot working area.
• Plant is equipped with new generation state of the art machinery and equipments.
• A team of engineers and technicians, who are qualified and trained in the manufacturing process, oversee production and quality control.
• A dedicated vendor base, with strict quality guidelines, checks that all products meet our Quality Control specifications.

Research and Development:

• A well-equipped R&D department for new developments, product design, process improvement.
• The plant has an in-house test laboratory equipped with various endurance test machines, generating real-time stress on components. Products pass through numerous quality checks, at incoming, during process, and at pre-dispatch stage to eliminate defects.

Warehousing:

• Our main warehouse facility incorporates an area of 60,000 square feet.
• We use the latest warehouse management principles and bar coding for efficient shipping, tracking and inventory management.
• A well-trained and experienced staff handles orders quickly and efficiently.
• Parts are supplied either in bulk or individually packed in boxes.

Logistics:

• At Westar, we closely interact with transportation and carrier companies, in order to minimize delivery time and keep track on consignments.
• The logistics department has devised practices and procedures, by virtue of supply chain management, for keeping track of products in-house, in transit and at the final destination: the customer's door.

Global Sourcing:

• With view of providing components for import vehicles, Westar sources them from manufacturers worldwide.
• Westar has many well-established commitments with manufacturing facilities in Asia and the Far East.

Purchase and Vendor Development:

• We are constantly adding new products to our program, for the benefit of customers. New processes are constantly being developed to manufacture these items.
• Vendors are regularly inspected and rated on the parameters of quality, supply, and rates by our audit teams.
• Timely support is ensured by providing schedules and instructions well in advance.
